President Uhuru Kenyattas lawyer at the Supreme Court election petition on Wednesday confessed that he was shocked after hearing the full judgement from the majority bench that nullified his clients election.
Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi, who led the President's legal team, took to his Twitter account shortly after Justice Isaac Lenaola had read his judgement and while the Deputy Chief Justice Philomena was making his judgement.
The outspoken lawyer termed the majority judgement as "pedestrian, too simplistic, shocking".
Abdullahi went further to ridicule part of the judgement delivered by Justice Mwilu where she stated that elections were not about numbers but about processes.
The Senior Counsel tweeted with a tone of sarcasm, that processes would now win people elections.
"in process test"...elections will be won on marks...how organised & calm you are, how your voters dress, carrying umbrellas, bakora..etc," the lawyer quoted his earlier tweet on his understanding of election process.
Kenyatta's lawyer has not shied away from criticising the Supreme Court after it overturned his client's win.
Indeed, when Chief Justice David Maraga announced the decision three weeks, the high profile lawyer rose up and stated that the court "had made a very political decision devoid of judicial wisdom".
