Meet the Man Replacing Ezra Chiloba [PHOTO]

What you did not know about the man replacing Chiloba

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) CEO Ezra Chiloba has been left out in the cold during the fresh presidential election after Supreme Court nullified President Uhuru Kenyatta’s win.

IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati on Tuesday dismantled Chiloba’s role in which he conducted major operations during the just concluded polls.

Taking up some of the CEO’s crucial roles will be his deputy Marjan Hussein Marjan.

In 2015, the electoral body appointed Hussein as Deputy CEO in Charge of Support Services to replaceWilson Shollei, who was sacked over misconduct of the 2013 general election.

“In the last 20 years, he has grown through the ranks in Telkom Kenya assuming different roles at management level even as the company underwent a transformation.

"He has vast knowledge and experience in leadership, finance and audit functions, information security systems audit and strategic management,” Chiloba said during Hussein's appointment.
