A Morning show radio presenter has shocked many after she gave birth while she was live on air.
According to a report by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Cassiday Proctor started experiencing labour pains on Monday when her station decided to make arrangements with the hospital to have her Caesarean section birth broadcasted.
“It was amazing to be able to share the most exciting day of my life with our radio listeners,” said Cassiday.
She also said that giving birth on air was an extension of what she does every day on her radio show as she shares all aspects of her life with the listeners.
The child, who weighed 3.2kgs, was named Jameson after listeners selected the baby’s name in a competition in January, 2018.
