Nasseb Abdul Juma aka Diamond Platnumz met with President John Pombe Magufuli for the first time after his songs were banned by his government.
The hit-maker of “African Beauty” got the opportunity to have a one on one moment with the President, where he is seen whispering into his ears.
Diamond also performed his song "Number One"
The WCB CEO, took to his social media accounts to share photos, praising the President for giving him the opportunity to be part of the historic event.

Speaking during the ceremony, Magufuli stated that Tanzania had only one Tower that was built in 2002.

"Tanzania ina Rada moja tu iliyonunuliwa mwaka 2002 na ina uwezo wa kuhudumia anga kwa asilimia 25 tu lakini kukamilika kwa Rada hizi kutawezesha anga lote la Tanzania kuhudumiwa. Hivi sasa Tanzania inapoteza takribani Bilioni 1.2 ya tozo kwa mwaka baada ya Shirika la Usalama wa Anga Duniani (ICAO) kukasimu sehemu ya anga la Tanzania kwa Kenya, baada ya mradi huu kukamilika tutarejeshewa sehemu hiyo," said Magufuli.
Their meeting comes days after Diamond settled his Differences with Magufuli’s government.
