Singer Diamond Platnumz took many by surprise after he posted a photo of his ex-girlfriend and a message for her.

This is after he attended Sinema Zetu International Film Festival awards alongside his baby mama and socialite Hamisa Mobetto.

Diamond congratulated his ex-girlfriend Wema Sepetu for winning the best female actress award in Sinema Zetu International Film Festival on Sunday evening.

“Congratulations madam Wema, My brother Gaboz and all those who were able to win awards last night. Congratulations to those who were also not able to get any awards last night because you are all winners and that is why you were there. Congratulations also to Azam for yester night’s event because it will add value to our art and the growth of our Movies,” said Diamond in a post he wrote in Swahili.

Diamond and Wema who were once lovers have lately been very close to the extent of posting one another on their social media pages.

She is also said to be the reason Diamond’s wife Zari Hassan parted ways with the singer, after a video of the two hugging at the Launch party of WCB signed artist Mbosso went viral.

Diamond has defended himself multiple times saying that they are good friends but there is no intimate relation between them adding that after breaking up with someone it does not mean they cannot be friends.

He once said in an interview that his mission this year is to make sure he makes peace with anyone he has crossed paths with before.
