Popular Tanzanian actress Elizabeth Michael popularly known as Lulu Diva has given hospitalized children gifts as she serves her jail term.

She sent her mother and friends to deliver the presents accompanied with a message to the children.

Lulu was sentenced by a Dar es Salaam court after death of one Steven Kanumba. During the time when Steven died, he was dating Lulu.

Following the unfortunate incident, Lulu was sentenced. That was on a Monday, 13 November.

It was the day she was born and thought and decided to help the children who are ailing. She believes that the mother of the children in hospital are undergoing pain just like her mom and she hopes by giving them to the kids it relieve their mothers’ pain. She loves them and asks for their prayers

Her mother said “Lulu loves the kids and prays to God. She hopes the kids will get well soon she wishes them well and a quick recovery.”

Lulu sent a couple of items that are basic needs; Washing soap, Tissue and other basic requirements.

The 23 year old recently donated sanitary pads to girls who needed them.

Her message as she sent the sanitary pads were:

“Kwanza niwapongeze kwa hii program nimekuwa mfuaatiliaji na naamini itakuwa na 'Impact' kubwa kwenye jamii.Kikubwa mimi Mahsein @drchenitz ni Muwakilishi, nimeleta 'pic kadhaa za Pads ambazo zitakuwa msaada kwa Wasichana wakitanzania.

Zaidi amesema niwaambie. ANAWAPENDA saana, na anawataka mabint wa kitanzania wawe huru katika kutimiza malengo yao, wasikate tamaa na Mungu atawasimamia.”
