KTN’s Friday Briefing news anchor Betty Mutei Kyallo has spoken on co-parenting with her ex-husband and NTV investigative reporter Dennis Okari.

In an interview with a local daily, Betty said she preferred to keep that part of her life private and off the media for now, adding that with time maybe she would be able to talk about it openly.

Irreconcilable differences

“I would really like to keep that very private. Maybe sooner or later, I will be able to talk about it but for now, I would just rather not and keep it off the media,” said Betty.

Betty Kyallo and Dennis Okari tied the knot in a colourful wedding in October 2015, but parted ways a few years later over irreconcilable differences.

Dating

In the interview, the mother of one also opened up on her current dating life saying that she had met many amazing people, but she was in the process of packaging herself before getting back to the dating scene.

“I want to package myself as a businesswoman, a mum and a potential partner in life. So that when I decide to get married again or start dating somebody, I’m bringing something to the table. And because of that packaging, I’m taking some time off. I have met quite a number of amazing people out there, but nachukua vitu pole pole. I take every day at a time, there’s no hurry. Niko tu sawa. Very single.” Said Betty Kyallo.
