Confusion has raged online after a photo of business man Jimmi Wanjigi was in the obituaries in today’s Daily Nation.
In the death and funeral announcement, the man that resembles the business man is identified as James Richard Wanjagi and he died on January 30 after a failed armed robbery in Karen estate. The business man is called "Jimmi Richard Wanjigi"
Richard Wanjagi according to the information in the obituary has been an employee of Kwacha Industries which resembles Wanjigi’s family business name and is a resident of Muthaiga, the same estate as the one where the prominent business man resides with his family.
The Deceased’s wife goes by the name Irene which resembles that of the business man’s wife and their children go to the same school, Le Rosey Switzerland. The names of the parents to the business man are also the same to the diseased in the obituary.

The announcement also seems to give confusing information as the burial date was a day before the time the announcement was put up in the daily.
Daily Nation has since apologized for the erroneous advertisement.
