Popular TV Journalist to open his own TV station

The Media Personality is making a come back to the Industry via his own ship

Popular TV and Radio Journalist Jimmy Gathu is set to launch his own TV station.

The TV station dubbed is owned by a company called JimmyGhathu Incorporated Limited, operating under the wings of the veteran media personality.

According to a gazette Notice released last Friday, Gathu was among four individuals who had applied for broadcast licenses.

“The licenses if granted will enable the said applicants to operate and provide services as indicated above their names” said Communication Authority of Kenya Director Francis Wangusi.

The CAK director called on any person objecting to the issuance of the licence to send a letter to the Authority within 30 days.

Gathu is one of the media personalities who seems to defy nature by not growing old. We’ve all seen the lad in the youthful days when he first graced our TVs and you can bear me witness he hasn’t changed much.
