It’s no secret that Mike Sonko’s family likes to party.

And when they do, the do it big. Scenarios which we have experienced with Saumu Mbuvi’s grand graduation party, Primrose Mbuvi’s outstanding birthday bash and Saumu’s double baby showers.

Away from the partying, the Mbuvi family is famed for their generosity. Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko once walked into the Kenyatta National Hospital with bundles of cash and offset hospital bills for some patients who had been detained at the hospital over unpaid bills. Sonko also adopted Gift and Baby Satrin Osinya who survived a gun attack at a Likoni church on 3rd March 2014.

And it’s nice to learn that they extend their kindness to their house help Judy. While most house helps are mistreated, subjected to insane hissy fits from their employers and even beaten, the Sonkos are setting a fine example about how the help should be treated. To show appreciation for the lady that has served them so diligently, the Mbuvis threw an intimate birthday party for their house help.
