Zari Hassan and Wema Sepetu to battle it out in UK

The battle of the titans

Diamond’s Baby Mama Zari Hassan and Wema Sepetu are set to battle it out in the UK.

Wema and Zari will be battling in this year’s Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts (BEFFTA) Awards, where they have been nominated in the same category.

The two have been nominated in the Best African Inspirational Women category and they will be competing with other five women. Kenya will be represented by Avril in the BEFFTA awards.

Through their official Instagram account, organizers of the BEFFTA awards revealed that they are looking for nominees to fill in other categories.

BEFFTA Awards is set to make history worldwide by celebrating personalities in entertainment, film, fashion, television, arts, sports and leadership globally.

According to BEFFTA CEO and founder Dr. Pauline Long has announced that the move is to help enhance the visibility of African, Caribbean and Asian personalities in the creative and leadership industries. London will be celebrating the BEFFTA Week with exclusive 6 day gala and awards in a top hotel from 23rd October – 28th October.
