House help in Ngara arrested for feeding baby on vomit

Ngumbo was seen feeding the baby on vomit, kicking and punching her.

Cecile Ngumbo, a house help in Ngara in Nairobi was captured on camera assaulting and feeding vomit to his employer’s 15-month-old baby. She has subsequently been charged in court.

She was accused of subjecting a child to cruel punishment at Ngara estate in Nairobi on March 14.

The court heard that Ngumbo’s employer had installed CCTV cameras to monitor her house and she was shocked when she saw Ngumbo mistreating the baby.

Police records indicate that Ngumbo was seen feeding the baby on vomit, kicking and punching her.

She confronted Ngumbo who denied the accusations and later reported the matter to cops, who arrested the housegirl.

Ngumbo denied the charges. She pleaded that she was the sole bread winner for her three children and asked the court for mercy.

The matter will be mentioned on April 4.
