If Kenyans politicians’ affinity for sleaze was a cheque, it would never bounce. The luster of scandal seems to draw them in hopelessly and they willingly oblige.

A not so fortunate politician will not be making public appearances any time soon after his dalliance with peddlers of the oldest profession.

After imbibing the frothy liquid at a local watering hole, he made his way to sample the forbidden fruit on sale. Hailing from Central Kenya, he could not afford to go back home without some Nairobi night action.

Tipsy and in high spirits, he made his way to one of the notorious streets in Nairobi. After haggling briefly over the price of the ‘goods’ he and his acquisition made his way to a lodging. That was the beginning of his misfortunes.

After winding up his tryst, he sought to make a clean exit. He had only paid for a limited time, not the whole night so time was of the essence. In his mad dash he did not check to see whether his valuables were still in his pocket.

Just as he was leaving, he heard the sound of a phone being switched off. It sounded like his. He quickly tapped his pockets and it dawned on him that his phone and wallet were no longer on his person. The next events unfolded rapidly.

Flees like a bat out of hell

He tried to retrieve the phone and wallet from a second woman who was under the bed but the commotion attracted the watchman who quickly intervened. In cahoots with the prostitutes he roughed up the man.

As if on cue, other twilight girls, probably in the same ‘Sacco’ joined in and tussled with the unlucky man. They undressed him and fearing for his life, he ran out of the lodging like a bat out of hell, butt naked.
