Lemon

Sugar

Oil

Cinnamon powder

Cardamom powder

Process

1.Grate lemon to create the zest. Lemon zest is basically the grated peel of the lemon.

2.In a bowl, add 2 cups of self-rising flour.

3.Add the cinnamon, cinnamon, cardamom, sugar and the lemon zest to the flour. Mix everything together.

4.Slowly pour in the milk into the mixture while kneading. Add the beaten eggs and melted margarine and knead some more.

5.Knead the dough and ensure all ingredients are properly mixed.

6.Cover the dough with cling film and set aside for 30 minutes.

7.Roll the dough on a flat surface and cut pieces into whatever shape you like (Circles, Triangles, Squares).

8.Heat oil in a deep-frying pan.

9.Fry until golden brown.

10.Serve and enjoy.
