Citizen TVs Lulu  Hassan has sent her first message to her longtime friend and co-anchor Kanze Dena, following her appointment to the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU).

Lulu in a tweet said that it is only God who knows how far they have come.

"Alhamdullilah !!!!!Mungu unajuwa mahali umetutoa !!!!!! RESIDENT Kenyatta appoints TV anchor Kanze Dena deputy State House Spokesperson; Munira to head Presidential Library," she said.

Following her appointment, Kanze Dena will now serve as the deputy State House spokesperson as well the Deputy Head of PSCU which is currently headed by Manoah Esipisu.

According to the statement announcing her appointment, Dena will take leadership of the core communications teams, including digital, messaging, research, branding and press.

She has also been tasked to focus on the President's brand positioning, media relations and messaging with respect to the delivery the Big Four agenda.

Further, veteran journalist Munira Mohamed, who has served as PSCU's Director of Press has been promoted to the position of of Deputy Head, PSCU and Head of the Presidential Library.

The announcement was made in a statement signed by State House Chief of Staff Nzioka Waita.
