Moses Kuria’s message to Kirinyaga Deputy Governor after he was caught in an embarrassing act

Gatundu South Member of Parliament Moses Kuria has sent a message to Kirinyaga Deputy Governor Peter Ndambiri Njagi after he was caught in an embarrassing act.

Kuria in a post on his Facebook page said that it was stupid of him to pay people for such information not to get to the media and that it was a way to encourage criminal networks to grow.

He added that it was shameful that the deputy governor did not report the matter to the police and that such extortion cartels were rampant in Kiambu County.

“I always say it is nonsensical to pay anyone so as not to give a story to the media. That breeds extortion and encourages criminal networks to thrive. It is a pity that the Kirinyaga DG did not immediately report such extortionists to the police. If it were me I would simply have paid them off not with money but with the middle finger. These cartels are rampant especially in Kiambu County. I still urge him to report to the police. It is the right thing to do.” Said the legislator.

His words came after a raunchy video and pictures of the Kirinyaga deputy governor naked in a room with an unknown woman while in Kakamega for the fifth Devolution Conference surfaced online.

This caused an uproar online as several Internet users called for his resignation, saying that it was shameful for a holder of public office.
