Kericho senator Aaron Cheruiyot has said "there was no NASA it was ODM and three coat hangers trying to get a life through ODM."
While Speaking to NTV, the senator said there is only one principal in NASA and that is Raila Odinga adding that once he makes a decision the rest have to follow. He added that the other NASA leaders are class representatives and monitors
“ODM and the other three parties had no shared history, no shared ideology and vision for this country,” he continued
His sentiments have come days after Raila and Uhuru held private talks in the office of the President at Harambee house.
The two leaders's move came as a surprise because the two could not see each other eye to eye owing to their political rivalry. This was the first time the two arch rivals met after the controversial August 8 polls.
Following their confidential meeting, they signed a communique pointing out how ethnic tension will be dealt with as well as corruption.
Uhuru and Raila pronounced the end of electoral contest that has been going on even after Uhuru was announced winner after the October presidential repeat election.
The leaders urged Kenyans to join them in putting the country back on the development path after months of political hostility.
United Nations through its Secretary General Antonio Guterres welcomed the Uhuru-Raila pact. It has reiterated its commitment to supporting Kenya's efforts for peace, stability and development.
