Wiper Party leader and National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has broken his silence on ditching NASA and forming a new coalition with co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula.
According to Kalonzo, NASA is still intact and the handshake between President Uhuru and opposition Chief Raila Odinga does not mean NASA is dead.
"I assure you that Raila is still in NASA. His handshake with Uhuru does not mean otherwise. The little disagreements we are seeing will be settled in a matter of time." He said.
He went ahead and blamed the media for speculations that the NASA coalition was splitting.
Kalonzo’s words come in the wake of reports that he and Co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula were set to form their own coalition which will be known as the NASA Alliance.
The reports also indicated that the three who are party leaders of the Wiper Party, Amani National Congress (ANC) and Ford Kenya would have their first rally in Kakamega on Saturday to drum up support as well as officially launch their new coalition NASA Alliance.
