Mutahi Ngunyi reveals secrets of Uhuru's controversial deal with Ruto

Political analyst Mutahi Ngunyi has added his voice to the debate on frosty relationship between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto.

In a rather surprising analysis, Ngunyi was of the view that the seemingly frosty relationship between Ruto and Kenyatta was stage managed with the intention of confusing the public.

"Uhuru and Ruto are acting. Our theory is that they meet at State House and agree that Uhuru will insult Ruto by calling him Kijana (young man) who likes to manga manga (loitering), and then Ruto tells us that he is investing in heaven," Ngunyi opined.

Fix Raila

The political analyst further hypothesised that it was likely that the two leaders were planning to use the "act" to fix ODM Leader Raila Odinga and obliterate some of the Mt Kenya mafia who are opposed to the Ruto presidency.

Regarding the handshake, Ngunyi warned President Kenyatta to be careful in the deal made with Odinga, reminding him of the famous LDP walk out that was led by the current ODM leader.

Odinga's exit from Kanu is cited as one of the reasons Kenyatta lost the 2002 presidential election under the Kanu ticket.

At the same time, Ngunyi warned Interior CS Fred Matiang'i over the manner in which the sugar crackdown was handled.

The political analyst predicted Matiang'i would soon be axed by people Ngunyi termed as "the owners of the state".
