Self-declared NRM General Miguna Miguna on Friday failed to show up at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport (JKIA) at the time when he was expected to land in a connecting flight from Dubai.
Miguna on Sunday told journalists that he would not be arriving at 2.30pm at JKIA via an Emirates flight.
“I am scheduled to arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 2:30pm aboard Emirates EK19 via Dubai,” he said in a statement.
However, Pulselive.co.ke used flight tracking website, flightaware.com and established that the flight number Miguna had given was from Dubai to Manchester without any connections to Nairobi.
Another search showed that the earliest flight arriving at JKIA from Dubai International Airport was scheduled for 7.20pm.
Sources indicate Miguna is already at JKIA but is yet to be cleared by immigration officials.
