A total of 14 well-connected businessmen will be charged for colluding with public officials in the theft of public funds at the National Youth Service (NYS).
Leading on the list if Anne Ngirita, the 30-year old Naivasha based entrepreneur who allegedly received Sh59 million for supplying nothing to NYS.
20 of the suspects, including Public Service PS Lillian Omollo and NYS Director General, will spend the night in state custody ahead of the court appearance tomorrow (Tuesday).
While announcing the list of suspects, Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Noordin Haji stated that detectives were on the hunt for all those yet to be arrested.
He advised the suspects to stop hiding and surrender themselves to the police.
