A senior officer handling the National Youth Service heist amounting to Millions is among the officials who has been reshuffled in the new changes at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, DPP.
Ms Emily Kamau, who is handling the prosecution of 43 NYS suspects, will now take the role Deputy Director of the Economic, International and Emerging crime department. She is currently the Senior Assistant Prosecuting counsel.
The current Deputy Director of Prosecution, Mr Nicholas Mutuku, will now head the Department of County Affairs.
Mr Jacob Onderi who has been serving in the Economics, International and Emerging Crime department will now take charge of the offenses against person department.

Other affected officers include Mr Daniel Karuri who will head prosecutions in Nairobi County but will keep serving in his current position as the station head, Milimani Law Courts.
Three other key officials have been transferred to satellite stations from Nairobi to Kisumu, Kakamega and Embu.
Mr Victor Mule an assistant director of public prosecution has been moved to Kisumu. His colleagues Patrick Ngumo and Kaigai Karundu will take up new assignments in Kakamega and Embu respectively.
The affected officers have been ordered to prepare hand-over reports duly signed. The handing over should also have a witness and a copy sent to the Secretary of Public Prosecution for records.
