The political temperatures between the Kenyan elite continue to escalate in the aftermath of the repeat presidential election.
The conflict appears to demystify the much-taunted talk of politicians remaining personal friends amid political differences.
On Monday, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s cousin, John Muhoho had a heated exchange of words with NASA principal Moses Wetangula’s daughter Sheila regarding the results of the repeat election.
Drama started after John, who is the son of President Kenyatta’s maternal uncle George Muhoho, posted a photo inside the Bomas of Kenya where the IEBC was in the process of declaring his cousin as the winner of last Thursday’s election.
The President’s first cousin captioned it, “and now to finish this”.
However, Sheila did not agree with her friend’s celebration and replied, “President of 3 million people” in reference to a statement from her dad’s coalition which has insisted only 3.5 million people turned out to vote.
John rebuffed with a heavy blow, “3 million is your aunty…I know it is a bitter pill and you guys won’t ebee admit you’ve been beaten so let’s not argue. I have a president, you have a retiree period…and potentially president of Nyanza and the Nyanza protectorate of Kibera,”
