Uhuru Park in photos and Video

NASA supporters are ready

Moments after Police on Tuesday morning unexpectedly withdrew from Uhuru Park, NASA supporters have made their way in ready for the swearing in of opposition leaders Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka as president and deputy president.

NASA had asked its supporters to come fully prepared after Nairobi security chiefs gave warnings of a possible clash, but have since withdrawn to avoid any confrontations with NASA supporters.

In the meantime, Wiper Party leader and NASA Co-Principal Kalonzo Musyoka has revealed that the government has withdrawn security from NASA principals and has called on NASA supporters to maintain calm, as the leaders go for a meeting to deliberate on a few issues.

The NASA leaders called for the 'crisis' meeting after the government through the Communications Authority of Kenya shut down all major TV stations on Tuesday morning.
