Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu Baba Yao has now sent out a rare warning message to President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Waititu raised issue with the manner in which President Kenyatta was dealing with NASA leader Raila Odinga.

The Kiambu Governor warned that the Opposition leader would destabilize the country if he the President continued to entertain Odinga’s “endless demands”.

"We are telling Uhuru that he is not a bishop. He should whip someone who causes problems because we want peace in Kenya,” Waititu remarked.

He further asked President Kenyatta to implement tough legal measures against the Opposition over their sustained mass action that they have undertaken since the August 8 presidential election was nullified.

The vocal governor further accused the former Prime Minister of being behind the violence that was witnessed in Kawangware.

"You (Raila) have tried and lost. It is God who has refused you. Stop troubling us and threatening to do this or that. There are laws...the President should be firm in applying them,” Waititu stated.

He was speaking in Nyandarua during the burial of a brother to area governor Francis Kimemia.
