Gospel singer Kevin Bahati and his baby mama Yvette Obura have showered one another with special messages.

The two former love birds who are now co-parents decided to take their time to appreciate one another, through their social media pages.

The Mama hit maker was the first one to send a special message to his baby mama Yvette on mother’s day after he posted a photo of her with their daughter saying that he respected her as the mother to his first born daughter.

“Happy Mother's Day Mama Mueni. I Respect you as the Mother to my First Born Daughter ,” said Bahati on Instagram.

Yvette also responded with a post of Bahati’s picture saying that she was proud of him and that she sees God’s blessings in him.

“When I talk of God's blessings, I see that in you.... proud of you baba Mueni,” she said in her post.

This comes even as the two have in the past publicly clashed with Yvette accusing the Gospel singer of being an absentee father at one time.
