Beautiful Singer ditches Secular Music for Gospel

Beautiful Afro-soul Singer Cece Sagini Kemunto has ditched secular music to join the Gospel Industry.

Cece made the revelation of switching sides on #CrossOver101, a gospel show aired on NTV Kenya.

“I have been raised in a Christin family, sang in Church choir and I have always stuck to the teaching as much as I wasn’t in it. But over time I have had my moment of transition to getting saved. I know many will have questions if I am really sure about this. But yes I’m and this is a journey “ said Cece Sagini during the Interview on CrossOver101.

In September this year, Ms Sagini gave hints on her intentions of joining the Gospel Industry through her social Media Pages but not many people took her serious.

“It's been a long time coming, from my first officially song 'Sio Mwisho' before I officially released Sio Mwisho in 2013 I had a back and forth about releasing it, mainly to avoid being labelled a gospel artist. That week an acquaintance (who knew little about me) wrote to me with very detailed information concerning that specific struggle with a message from God (through a dream) which gave me courage to release it. I pushed on with the music but in my own direction, it did gain me a little attention but I still felt convicted to do gospel music.... Here I am now!!! That my talent may be used for His Glory.” wrote Cece Sagini

Ms Sagini came to the limelight after her Song featuring Octopizzo. Her other songs include Sio Mwisho, 9 to 5 and the latest Ensobosobo.
