Kenyan comedian Vincent Mwasia popularly known as Chipukeezy has spoken for the first time, after his appointment to the Board of Directors at the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA).
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank God, H.E the President, the Deputy President for the appointment into the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse Board (NACADA.) This is very humbling and I promise to work very hard towards ensuring that the task ahead is accomplished as per expectations.” Chipukeezy said.
Three-Year period
His appointment came following Gazette Notice No. 5593 by the Cabinet Secretary, Interior and Co-ordination of National Government Dr. Fred Matiang'i, that announced the appointment of Vincent Mwasia (Chipukeezy) and George Ogalo to serve as NACADA Board members for the next three years.
