Music sensation Diamond Platnumz is set play the lead role in an upcoming movie series called ‘A Womanizer’

The singer made the revelation during an interview with a local programme called Kaa Hapa, when he was asked to explain his relationship with the Indian woman  who appeared in ratchet videos that leaked online.

He disclosed that the videos were teasers from the new series that will air on Wasafi TV, where he will play the lead character, alongside the Indian beauty who is based in Dubai and his Tanzanian baby mama Hamisa Mobetto.

“Kuna filamu tulikuwa tunaiyanya na kuna series moja inaitwa a womanizer na katika womanizer mimi ndio kama main character so tulipokuwa tunairecord ndio watu waliona kama vitu vimetrend. Unajua unapokuwa msanii lazima utumike katika kuelimisha pia na kuburudisha,” said Diamond.

Asked whether his Ugandan baby mama Zari Hassan will also play part in the series that will air on his on own TV station, Diamond stated that he is not the script writer and such decisions falls in the hands of producers and directors of the programme.

Ratchet videos

In April this year, the Salome hit maker found himself on the wrong side of the law after he shared videos while in bed with an Indian woman and Hamisa Mobetto.

This led to his arrest and ordered to issue a public apology after his management and the authorities held several meetings over the indecent act.

Diamond was arrested alongside rapper Billnass whose intimate video with song bird Nandy went viral on social media.
