Top Bongo Movie Actress Elizabeth Michael aka Lulu has been released from Jail.
According to the Police Officer In charge of the Prisons Department Lucas Mboje, Lulu was released over the weekend and will now serve a community service sentence.
“Lulu amebadilishiwa adhabu na ameachiwa juzi Jumamosi kati ya saa 2 hadi 3 asubuhi. Hii si kwamba ameachiwa huru, bali amebadilishiwa adhabu na atatumikia kifungo chake nje, kitaalamu tunaita ‘community service’” said Lucas Mboje.

The actress had been sentenced to a two-year jail term on November 13, 2017 for accidentally killing her fellow actor Stephen Kanumba.
The award-winning actress was accused of pushing Kanumba violently where he fell and received a fatal blow to his head.
She was 17 years old then and was arrested and taken into custody at Oysterbay Police Station before she was later charged with murder and remanded at a Tanzanian prison for seven months.

After her release, she managed to create a wonderful career in Tanzanian film & TV series and also as a brand ambassador and reputable TV host.
Lulu worked in a number of series likeDira, Zizimo, Taswira and was recently announced as the Sinema Zetu brand ambassador by Azam TV.
