EXCLUSIVE: Top NTV Journalist's new Job after quitting Nation Media Group

Former NTV Journalist Edmond Nyabola’s new destination has been revealed hours after he announced his exit from Nation Media Group.

Nyabola, who has added his name on the list of Journalists who have parted ways with NMG, is heading to CTNG formerly known as CCTV.

According to a close source who spoke to PulseLive.co.ke on condition of anonymity, Nyabola who used to Host a sports Show dubbed “Top Sport” is headed to CGTN for new assignments.

Through his social media platform the Sports Presenter announced his exit after working with the station for the past five years.

“It has been FIVE great years with NTV Kenya (NMG). I have worked with an excellent team, learnt aplenty, grown immensely, interviewed great people and won awards. It is time, however, to move on to something else. Gutted that I am leaving a place that will forever be home to me. Maybe someday I will be back, but until then, be well, Twin Towers.” Wrote Edmond Nyabola

CGTN Africa is the African bureau of China Global Television Network, the English-language news channel run by Chinese state broadcaster China Central Television. It is based in Nairobi and manages bureaux across Africa

Edmond has been hosting NTV’s Top Sport as well as Anchoring and reporting sports news.

His departure however comes at a time when the media house has been in a mass sacking that has seen tens of journalists leave the media house.
