Police Lob Teargas at Milimani Law courts

Police have been forced to lob teargas at Milimani Laws Courts to disperse NASA supporters who are waiting for Miguna Miguna to be arraigned in Court.

This comes hours after youth in Migori County blocked a road leading to Tanzania demanding for the immediate release of National Resistance Movement leader Miguna who was arrested on Friday last week.

The locals demanded that police release produce him in court for charges to be administered to him. The new twist emerges even as Miguna missed the Tuesday morning court session, as the lawyers representing him failed to trace his whereabouts.

However, the High Court has directed DPP to appear in  person at noon to confirm whether Miguna Miguna has been charged in a Kajiado Court as its being reported.

NASA Lawyer Otiende Amollo also questioned the mystery surrounding the where abouts of Miguna.

"On Miguna - Abuse of Power!; Bombed to seek non-existent Arms in Hse; shuffled between several remote Police Stations; Held incommunicado; Detained despite Orders for Release for over 5 Days! Then driven 100km away from High Ct which gave Orders! Banana Republic! reads Otiende Amollo's tweet
