2 Kenyans feared dead, 4 missing in latest clash

Several others are feared injured.

Two Kenyans are feared dead after two communities clashed Tuesday morning in Isiolo County.

Four others are reportedly missing as residents flee Lotik, Loruko, Attan, Alamach and Emegen villages in fear of more attacks.

The on Tuesday reported that Isiolo North MP Hassan Oda had expressed fears that the four who are missing could have drowned at Ewaso Ngiro River.

Villagers said they spotted their missing kin running towards the river after Loruko village was raided by bandits.

Oldonyiro MCA David Lemantile said a woman has been hospitalised at Isiolo Referral Hospital after she was shot at Loruko by the raiders.

In August 2015, residents of Alamach, Attan, Ariemet & Lotik villages were forced to flee their homes following a series of communal attacks.
