How Raila Helped Jubilee Governor Win

This is it

Uasin Gishu Governor-elect Jackson Mandago has lauded former Prime Minister Raila Odinga and his NASA team for the landslide victory in the just concluded General Election.

Mr. Mandago trounced his arch rival Bundotich Zedekiah Kiprop popularly known as 'Buzeki' with a whopping 191,467 votes. Buzeki garnered 148,121 votes.

The Governor-elect mentioned that if it were not for NASA's endorsement he would not have been re-elected.

"I want to congratulate the Nasa team for saying 'Mandago tibim' had they not said so, I would not have won the elections. Their supporters should relax because, in my next term, I will cater for the needs of all irrespective of whether you voted for me or not," he said.

In July, Mr. Odinga called on residents in Eldoret to elect Mandago for a second term.

Also, Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka endorsed him stating:“If my vote was for Uasin Gishu County, I could vote – without doubt – for Governor Mandago for a second term. We, NASA, are fully behind Governor Mandago”.
