Siaya Senator James Orengo on Friday revealed details of the return of self-proclaimed National Resistance Movement (NRM) General Miguna Miguna to Kenya.
Speaking during a meeting with Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR), Mr. Orengo stated that Miguna will jet into the country using an Ethiopian Airline on Monday 26 March 2018.
The Senator further noted that the flight is expected to land in the country at 10.30 am.
“Miguna Miguna will be arriving on Monday 26 March on an Ethiopian Airway flight at 10.30 in the morning,” he said.
Orengo urged KNCHR to ensure that security is beefed up at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airpot (JKIA) in a bid to see Miguna’s family members and his legal team access the Canadian based lawyer when he arrives.
The self-declared NRM General was deported to Canada after taking part in the controversial swearing-in ceremony of National Super Alliance leader Raila Odinga as the People’s President.
