Part of JKIA shutdown

A heavy contingent of armed GSU officers are present at JKIA.

Police have locked down Terminal Two at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

The lock down comes after the airport witnessed a long standoff from Monday between Self-declared National Resistance Movement General Miguna Miguna and the security officials.

Police cut off access to terminal two in the morning where Dr Miguna is locked with only Siaya Senator James Orengo has been granted access to see Miguna.

The impasse continued Tuesday morning after Miguna's lawyer Cliff Ombeta said his client will not fill the citizenship forms issued by the Immigration department.
