<h1>11 people perished in a grisly road accident involving a bus and a trailer on Sunday morning.</h1>

<p>Several others were rushed to hospital in critical condition with fears that the casualties could rise.</p>

<p>The accident occurred at Sogea along the Naivasha-Gilgil when the bus which was heading to Nairobi attempted to overtake another vehicle before colliding head on with a trailer heading in the opposite direction.</p>

<p>Area OCPD Emmanuel Opuru confirmed the accident.</p>
