Tanzanian singer Omary Faraji popularly known as Ommy Dimpoz has spoken out for the first time, after being in a coma for 7 days.

Dimpoz who has been hospitalized in South Africa posted a video on his Instagram page saying that he he underwent a serious operation.

The ‘Yange’ hit make said that he had trouble eating and drinking water which is the reason he had to undergo the operation.

He also disclosed that he has been hospitalized for 15 days after undergoing the operation and thanked those that have been sending him messages of encouragement and praying for him as well.

“Salaam alaikum, Eid Mubarak Alhamdulillah mimi namshukuru mungu nimepitia kipindi kigumu kidogo nilikuwa naumwa nimefanyiwa operation kubwa kwahiyo nimetumia kama siku kumi na tano hospitali lakini namshukuru mungu nimetoka sasa hivi na I hope I will come back stronger now niko kwenye kurecover mapumziko lakini inshallah panapo majaliwa mambo yatakuwa mazuri nashukuru kwa waliokuwa wananitumia message na kuniombea kwa mungu Alhamdulillah asanteni sana,” said Mommy Dimpoz.

The news of the singer’s operation came as a surprise to many of his fans and followers as no one had the slightest idea of his sickness, apart from his closest friends.
