Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko’s governorship has now been threatened by a fresh case filed at the Court of Appeal.
The appeal case now challenges the High Court’s decision to dismiss election petition against the Nairobi Governor.
The High Court in Nairobi had on January 9th dismissed a petition challenging Sonko’s election.
Justice Msagha Mbogholi made the ruling after two petitioners, Japheth Muroko and Zachaeus Okoth Oliech, made an application to withdraw the petition.
Muroko had earlier claimed that his life had been threatened over the petition.
