Hollywood Actress Lupita Nyong’o has ventured into a whole new career after announcing that she has written a children’s book.
The award winning actress revealed that her new book titled who happens to be the main character in the book. Sulwe is a “dark-skinned girl who goes on a starry-eyed adventure, and awakens with a re-imagined sense of beauty.

The 12 Years A Slave star adds that the book talks about the lesson that we learn as children and spend our lives unlearning.
She added; “This is a story for little ones, but no matter the age I hope it serves as an inspiration for everyone to walk with joy in their own skin.”
