Raila was hoping i reject court ruling so that people would fight - Uhuru

President Uhuru Kenyatta has claimed that he had knowledge of NASA presidential candidate Raila Odingas plan before the supreme court ruling.

Speaking during a three-day visit to Mombasa County on Sunday, Kenyatta alleged that Odinga hoped he would reject the supreme court ruling and plunge the country into chaos.

According to the President, the former Prime Minister would then take advantage to invite mediators and negotiate a coalition government."I had prior information that his hope was that I would reject the court’s verdict and our people would fight so he could call foreigners to mediate a coalition government,” the Head of State said.He also indicated that he was not willing to hold any talks with Odinga insisting that the people would make their choice on October 26.The President and his deputy also received ex-Mombasa senator Hassan Omar, who ditched NASA after losing to Hassan Joho in the gubernatorial race.Omar stated that Odinga and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka abandoned him after losing to Joho, which influenced his decision to join the ruling coalition.

Meanwhile, the supreme court nullified President Uhuru Kenyatta's win on grounds that IEBC didn't conduct the election as required by the constitution.
