She sold omena to pay her school fees.

Akothee is an A student when it comes to business and entertainment but does that apply to the classroom?

The ‘Give it to Me’ recently shared her KCSE results and looking at her her result slip and considering her life story, one can say she did well.

Akothee managed to score a C+ at Wasio Mixed Secondary school after dropping out at age 14 from Nyabisawa Girls to get married.

The musician paid her school fees at Wasio with the money she got from selling Omena (Lake Victoria sardines) and the money was also used to feed her three daughters. Daughters she had gotten from her marriage with her high school sweetheart who soon disappeared after the love went sour.
