Alikiba gets rare recognition for his outstanding contribution to Bongo music

Music sensation Alikiba has received another rare recognition for his outstanding contribution to the Bongo music industry.

Alikiba was handed the Plaque special award by top Tanzanian radio station Times FM, making him the second male Tanzanian artist to get the award after Diamond Platnumz.

According to Times FM, the singer was recognized for his contribution to the Tanzanian entertainment industry and for being able to be at the top of his game, over the years.

“Mapema leo  tumemkabidhi Plaque yake (tuzo maalum) ya Bongo Fleva  kama  kwa mchango wake kwenye muziki na jitihadi alizipiga kupeperusha bendera ya TZ, Kuvutia wengi zaidi (inspire) na kuwepo mpaka leo toka zamani kwenye game. Kiba amekua msanii mwenye nguvu katika Muziki na kwa kufanya kazi nzuri  The Playlist imeona kumpongeza kwa tuzo hii maalum  na kumtaja kuwa ,” said Times FM.

King Kiba was also recognized for the Best International Act, Best Male Act and the Most Influential Act, and the award was handed to him by Times FM’s The Playlist show host Lil Ommy.

“Leo nimepata Plaque ya Bongo Fleva kutoka The Play▶️list na  kama  :Shukrani sana  na for this plaque! Mungu awabariki na muendelee kuupa thamani muziki wetu! ," said Alikiba.

Other artists who have received the coveted award are song bird Vanessa Mdee and Diamond Platnumz.
