But the management of the popular club has come out to refute claims of 5 people getting electrocuted.

In a statement sent to  the press, B Club wrote:

"B Club would like to clarify that the story doing rounds that five people were electrocuted at the swimming pool during the clubs anniversary is false and malicious.

What happened was that one of the revelers may have had too much to drink while in the pool, interfered with the cabling of the event and the current caused him to panic. However he was rapidly rescued by lifesavers stationed along the pool.

He was taken to hospital and has since recovered and been discharged. This did not affect the event and it went ahead for the rest of the evening with revelers having a good time.

The headlining artist Iyanya, Pallaso and Eddy Kenzo went to give a great concert icing the great night it had been. B Club endeavors to continue providing quality and premium high end entertainment in Nairobi.
