Former United States First Lady Michelle Obama and her daughter lit up social media after they were spotted rocking bikinis in a Miami Beach.

The two were on holiday without Former US President Barrack Obama and their last born daughter Sasha.

In a series of photos, Michelle and Malia who were having a mother daughter time went for dinner before they left Miami Beach.

According to BET, Malia is on holiday from Harvard where she is studying as a freshman since last year, and the two decided to take some time off with a few family friends.

The Obama family has been taking holiday trips since they left the White House after President Obama’s second term in power came to an end.

The Obama's became the first First family to settle in Washington DC after retirement for the first time in 95 years.
