Big Pin speaks for the first time after being hospitalized

He collapsed at his office last week

Kenyan singer Chrispin Mwangale popularly known as Big Pin has finally spoken after he collapsed at the Hallmark offices in Kileleshwa, before he was rushed to the Aga Khan hospital last week.

Big Pin who is now in good health spoke to a local daily and refuted earlier reports that he had suffered a minor cardiac arrest, adding that he was diagnosed with (Angina) – a chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart.

He also said that he was admitted for three days as the doctors ran tests on him and was discharged with an order to take a seven days bed rest.

“I was in the boardroom dealing with work reports and projects when I felt dizzy and collapsed. I was rushed to Aga Khan Hospital in Westlands and they referred me to the main hospital on Third Parklands Avenue. After some tests, I was told I have angina which can lead to heart attack. I was admitted for three days and discharged with an order for a week’s bed rest,” said the singer.

Big Pin Jatelo as he likes to call himself is known to have made hit songs like Natafuta, You featuring Sanaipei Tande, and Sherehekea among other songs.
