Flamboyant businessman Joseph Kairo Wambui, popularly known as Khalif Kairo was once again arrested by police over the weekend, signalling yet another turn in his journey as an entrepreneur.
The arrest, executed on Saturday, saw the businessman taken to Capitol Hill Police Station.
A brief scuffle and an altercation ensued during which the businessman could be heard engaging the officers.
Business deal that landed Kairo in trouble
At the centre of his latest arrest are allegations of defrauding a client.

The businessman who has experienced several challenges in recent days is said to have failed to deliver a vehicle purchased by a client.
After paying the full amount to Kairo, the client ran out of patience and failed to be convinced by the explanation offered by the businessman.
Altercation with the police
In one of the videos taken during his arrest, the businessman is heard telling off the police who he accused of harassing him.
He is further heard asking for patience so that he can sort out the issue at hand.
“Si vita, you are not going to harass me, you can’t harass me bana! You wait I sort things out,” Kairo can be heard saying in the video.
A police office assures him that he is not the first person to be taken to the police station, making it clear that he will not entertain any theatrics.
“…Wacha ujinga bwana! Do you think you are the first person to come here? Unaona niko na clients pale kwa ofisi…sitakuruhusu ulete ujinga hapa. Sisi tunapiga watu. Tutakupiga hapa saa hii tu!”
Planned travel to New York
Reports indicate that the embattled businessman was arrested after failing to convince the client with his plan of refunding the money paid for the car which he never delivered.

He is said to have told the client that he was planning to travel to New York to secure funds, an explanation that failed to convince the client, leading to his arrest.
Last month, Kairo had a similar experience after he was arrested for failing to deliver a high-end vehicle purchased by a client.
At the center of his woes was a luxurious car deal valued at Sh26million with the businessman noting that what he was going through at the time are part of normal challenges in business.
