Family secrets spill as Kioko’s sister accuses him of hurting their mum's honour

Content creator Nicholas Kioko and his sister, Mama Tracy, have recently been embroiled in a public feud over accusations of neglect and blackmail.

The conflict, which has played out online, has sparked mixed reactions from fans and followers of the popular YouTuber.

Kioko accuses sister of blackmail

Nicholas Kioko took to social media to address allegations made against him by his niece, Tracy, who claimed he had neglected her and refused to pay for her school fees and essentials.

In a video that gained significant attention, the young girl expressed frustration, accusing her uncle of failing to buy her books and clothes.

Kioko, however, dismissed these claims, stating that his sister, Mama Tracy, had manipulated her daughter into making the video as part of a long-standing scheme to extort and blackmail him.

Let me come out clean. The beautiful girl in the video is my niece, Tracy, my sister’s daughter. She is incredibly talented and brilliant in school. Unfortunately, her mother has been using blackmail against me for a long time, and I’m at my breaking point.

Evidence of threats

The content creator shared text messages allegedly sent by his sister, threatening to expose him if he did not pay her daughter’s school fees.

Mama Tracy also accused Kioko of prioritising his girlfriend, Wambo Ashley, and her family over his own.

Kioko defended himself, stating that he has consistently supported his sister financially. According to him, he has been paying for Tracy’s school fees and medical bills and even helped his sister move from the slums to a better living environment. Despite this, he claimed the blackmail and demands for money persisted.

Mama Tracy defends herself

In response, Mama Tracy hit back at her brother, accusing him of neglecting their family, including their mother, and refusing to maintain good relationships with other family members.

She went on to criticise Kioko for allegedly comparing his wife, Wambo Ashley, to their mother and for failing to respect their family.

She added that she had not asked Kioko for financial help in months and claimed he had cut ties with the rest of the family, including their father.

Kioko ends financial support for his sister

Amidst the drama, Kioko announced that he would no longer assist his sister financially. He criticised her for involving a child in their family disagreements and expressed disappointment in how the situation had escalated.

Dear sister, kindly continue with your drama but leave this little kid out of it. Our relationship will never be the same, and because of this, look for your own money. We have twins we are raising.

Mixed reactions online

The public fallout has sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans online. While some sympathised with Kioko's sister, a significant number criticised her, urging her to stop relying on her brother for financial support as he owes her nothing.

Many advised her to focus on supporting herself and to steer clear of interfering with Kioko’s family.
