The Homeboyz Radio management issued a statement condemning Shaffie Weru, DJ Joe Mfalme and Neville’s insensitive sentiments on a lady who was pushed off 12th floor of a building by a man she met on Facebook.

However, Kenyans On Twitter found it hard to buy the apology, stating that this is not the first time such an incident is happening at the radio station.

Another Incident

It can be remember that in 2019, Homeboyz was forced to suspend one of its shows following insensitive comments that were made by their Presenters on a young lady who was killed by her lover in Eldoret.

KOT argued that the station should streamline its broadcasting and make sure they live up to promises made in their two apologies.

The show dubbed 'Mtaani' was also removed from the schedule with Homeboyz saying they are conducting an internal investigation.

"Mtaani is an important part of our schedule and provides our listeners with an opportunity to engage in real time on real issues. We are cognizant of our responsibilities as broadcasters which is why we are taking these measures," the statement said.

Later on, Didge owned up to his mistake, stating that he was truly sorry to everyone who was offended by his insensitive remarks, promising to improve the quality of their show.
