Popular Comedian, Eric Omondi took to Instagram to congratulate Diamond and Tanasha, after welcoming their bundle of joy.
The funny man mentioned their long term friendship had now blossomed to family. He went ahead to poke the Dangote’s with a cheeky message, stating that they have been on his case demanding that he takes up the Godfathers role, in the life of the son.
“Happy Birthday Bro and congratulations on the birth of your Prince, wishing you quick recovery bro, kunywa maji mingi. I know you guys have been calling me nonstop, texting me, Whatsapping and DMing me requesting me to be the child's Godfather, please stop, it's enough. The comedian has been supporting Wasafi’s music by doing renditions of their songs. In June, Diamond appreciated Omondi after he released own version of the hit song Kanyaga. In his message, Chibu said that he respects him for his efforts to unite East Africa.

Eric hosted their baby shower last month, an event that was held in the Best Western Coral Beach Hotel in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The baby shower was an all-white themed event attended by some of their close friends and family members.
